 Hopi Ear candles are named after the Native American Tribe The Hopi's who first introduced this gentle therapy to Europe.  This healing therapy was traditionally used by Shaman healers (medicine men) and is considered to be a spiritual practice, opening the spiritual centres of the body, clearing and purifying the energy flow through to the physical body. 

There are many different  candle methods around but it was the Hopi nation that brought knowledge and the practice of this treatment to Europe with the professionalsism of Biosun.  Biosun ear candles are continually tested to ensure they remain free from chemical pesticide and fungicide residues.  They currently hold the CE mark (93/42-EEC)for medical devices in europe.

The candles are made from:

100% pure bees wax, Valuable honey extracts, Organic grown flax-natrual cottons, Beta-Carotene (Vitamin A).  These ingredients are blended with indian herbs and essentrial oils such as Sage, st. John's Wort and Chamomile.

The Biosun candles work in two ways by a suction action (Chimney effect) and by vibration.
